Six Pitfour Castle is a beautifully restored and immaculately maintained very spacious one bedroomed apartment. It offers a high degree of peace and tranquillity with excellent views of the surrounding countryside. The apartment itself is in keeping with a 17th Century ‘feel’, but offers the convenience and comfort of modern day living.

The kitchen includes a breakfast bar and is extremely well equipped. From the beautifully spacious bedroom with its 6 foot Four Poster, to the luxurious living area with the original restored walnut shutters and the delightful bathroom set in the turret, Six Pitfour Castle is an experience not to be missed.

The Castle itself is magnificent, set in a mature immaculately maintained six acres of ground. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the grounds and large shared garden area. Garden chairs are provided. There are excellent restaurants and shopping in the nearby ‘fair city’ of Perth, often described as the ‘Gateway to the Highlands’. Going Eastwards, Dundee boasts its’ own airport with direct flights to and from the City of London. One hour by car will take you into both Edinburgh or Glasgow, Aberdeen just a little longer, and the home of golf – St. Andrews is a pleasant and easy journey of just 45 minutes.

The local store is just 0.4 miles and stocks most everyday items that are needed, and the nearest hotel is just 0.9 miles where good food is served in the comfortable restaurant. There are many fishing areas within a 10 mile radius, and the area offers all types of walks from the more gentle to the challenging! The nearest Golf Club, of which there are many, is the King James VI situated in Perth on an island in the middle of the River Tay.

ACCOMMODATION
The apartment sleeps two and access is gained via a grand staircase to the Castle door and comprises an entrance hall, large sitting room with dining area, well equipped galley style kitchen with breakfast bar, large bedroom with dressing room and ample storage, and quaint bathroom set in the turret.

SERVICES
Electric central storage and central heating, all bed linens and towels included. The kitchen is equipped with electric hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer and tumble drier, cleaning materials and kitchen linen. A large screen TV, DVD player and Satellite system, radio, CD players and a hairdryer are also provided.
There is a large shared garden area, cot (and linen) and high chair both available on request. Smoking is restricted and unfortunately pets are not permitted.
